We’re gonna savour writing these words……Da Buzz are back!
Just a few weeks ago, they set up a new Facebook page and Twitter account, and announced to the world (well – 61 and 18 people respectively) that they were coming back with a brand new single – ‘Got This Feeling’.
Exciting news in itself, that. But today they went that little bit further and uploaded a sizeable preview of it to soundcloud, so that we could all take a listen to just what exactly Da Buzz sound like in 2012.
The answer is – jolly well good. It’s not really in the same vein as what has gone before from them. In fact, if it wasn’t for Annika’s voice then you could be forgiven for thinking that it was a totally different act. But when you think about it, and take into consideration that it’s been over a decade since the likes of ‘Let Me Love You Tonight’ and that Eurodance music sounds very different now…….well then yes – of course this is what Da Buzz sound like these days. This. Is. Da Buzz.
We liking this ‘Got This Feeling’ lark. And we really do hope that it leads to a new album from them.
